About this collection:

Nerikomi has come to serve me as an intersection of textile and clay. The coloured clay is checkered and then simply slumped over a mould to become these soft, hand-held bowls. Perfect for daily utility, the little kerchiefs contain checkers of all varieties of colour combinations. A clear glaze makes the stains pop and glisten, and also ensures food safety.

HANDMADE

All work is created by hand with care and intention in the hope that they will bring the same amount of joy to you that the process of making them brought to me.

MATERIAL

I create for my love of the material. All objects are made with clay that is then fired and glazed. There is a lot of experimentation as I try to explore the many avenues that ceramic offers as a medium. Each step of the process is crucial, and the materials evolves as manipulated.

AFTERCARE

All objects are fragile and should be handled with care. Everything can be cleaned with a soap and water rinse.
