About this Collection: 

The Cog Vessel collection is born from the desire to juxtapose the rest of my work that often alludes to natural forms and organisms and instead conveys the beauty in mechanical forms. Although they do appear to be some type of flower if viewed from above, the process of making them is deeply mechanical, repetitive and organised - a stark parallel to my usual mania.

HANDMADE

All work is created by hand with care and intention in the hope that they will bring the same amount of joy to you that the process of making them brought to me.

MATERIAL

I create for my love of the material. All objects are made with clay that is then fired and glazed. There is a lot of experimentation as I try to explore the many avenues that ceramic offers as a medium. Each step of the process is crucial, and the materials evolves as manipulated.

AFTERCARE

All objects are fragile and should be handled with care. Everything can be cleaned with a soap and water rinse.
